A piano is long and a phone is tall, so we borrowed the steel pan's secret: wrap the notes in a circle and nothing is ever out of reach. Play it as concentric rings, the shape of a real pan, or as a coil that follows the arc your thumb already travels. That marriage of piano notes and pan shape is what makes Panjo special.

Brown Girl in the Ring, Tingalayo and the anthems of fifteen Caribbean nations lead the shelf, alongside Beethoven and Mozart, Happy Birthday, folk favourites from six countries, ragtime, and the nursery rhymes children recognise from the first note. Every song has its own painted illustration, and the library keeps growing. We release new songs regularly and push fixes over the air whenever a tune does not sound quite right.

Where it comes from
The only acoustic instrument invented in the 20th century
The steel pan was born in Trinidad & Tobago in the 1930s, hammered out of discarded oil drums and tuned by ear. It went from scrap metal to a national instrument in a single generation.
Panjo is built in Toronto, a small studio putting Caribbean sound in front of a much bigger audience. The whole game keeps that island feel, right down to the tropical fruit teams you play for. Bring it on vacation, pass it around the family, and play together.
